A Great Place To Call Home

Our WMU ladies cooked, jarred, and delivered about 50 quarts of vegetable soup yesterday to shut-ins, guests, and other folks in need of encouragement. I am so impressed with the willingness to serve in little things. It is easy to see the love of Christ flowing from these ladies. God put his treasure in jars of clay. Our ladies put some in Ball Mason jars and gave it away. I guess I was in need of encouragement because I got some… soup and encouragement.

Great job! This was such a practical way to love on people and let them know that BBC cares.

Didn’t we have a great Lord’s Day yesterday? It was good all day long. We had great Sunday School, worship, and fellowship… then we had a party. TVs, fireplaces, and food aplenty. Throw in a little RockBand on the Wii for the young-uns (and not so young-uns) and it was a great time. The football game may not have turned out like some of us wanted, but it did turn out out as Jeremy predicted.

God continues to bless our fellowship with His grace. You need only come to one of our gatherings and you will realize that BBC is a group of people who love Jesus and who truly love each other.
